Job Title - Web Designer / Front-end Developer

Location - Plymouth

Salary - £22,000 - £24,000 Negotiable, based on experience

Role - Full-Time, 9am - 5:30pm, 20 days Holiday.

We are currently seeking an experienced and talented professional with combined web designer / front-end developer skills to join our innovative & creative digital media division.

Job Description:

You will be working closely with the development team to help create the concepts and designs for our enterprise level ecommerce solution and then mark-up these designs using

HTML, CSS and JavaScript. You'll be providing ideas and will play a part in shaping the projects you work on.

As Front End Developer you will have a good eye for web design and be passionate about the user experience, with a ‘don’t make me think’ attitude to design, and an understanding of how to engineer web experiences that deliver.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

Essential:

• 2+ years relevant front end design and development experience

• HTML5, CSS Level 3

• CSS Preprocessor (SCSS, SASS), Cross-browser compatibility

• Responsive design

• JavaScript / jQuery

• Design and UX experience

• API Integration into popular platforms

• Experience with templating engines

Desirable:

• PHP Experience V5.4+

• Git Experience

• Laravel

• Coding with JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Backbone) Experience

• Mobile Design Experience

• Social Media Integration

• WordPress development
