With several hundred customers across a broad range of market sectors including manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. The company are enjoying consistent healthy growth having recently employed 5 new members into the IT team and they continue to grow.

The company are currently recruiting for the following:

Title: Mobile / Web Developer Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience. Location: Leigh

Software developer to Development of applications for Android based smart phones and tablet devices or web applications Working with a small team of developers to design and develop software solutions for our mobile computing products. Responsibilities would include working with customers to define requirements, developing robust software architecture, creating a schedule of works where required, (project plan) and ultimately delivering the best solution to meet the customers needs. Additional responsibilities would include · performing hands-on development and debugging/ support activities. · Knowledge of either JAVA, VB.Net, SQLServer 2000 - 2012 · Smartphone Development experience (Windows Mobile, Android,) - · Ability to develop mobile applications for Windows and Android devices · Must have good visual design sense and creative drive · Must be a quick learner and be adaptable to new technologies · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Ability to write and maintain high quality code · Proven commercial software development experience – desktop and mobile · Ability to multi task and good time management skills · Ability to work on their own and as a part of the team · Excellent scoping and estimation skills · Excellent testing/ QA skills Implement features on schedule, with high quality · Ability to manage bug list for all development milestones · Liaise with fellow engineers to develop simple, robust solutions; perform code reviews

The ideal candidate will need to work effectively in a team as well as independently. Must be able to learn quickly and work well under pressure. Must have excellent verbal and writing skills.
